An intergenerational Flower Craft workshop for learning how to upcycle silk flowers into wearable statement pieces, led by the community-based, nonprofit BloomAgainBklyn and guest floral designers.
BloomAgainBklyn collects and refurbishes unsold and once-used blooms, which are otherwise destined for landfills, and distributes them to their many incredible partner organizations, reaching underserved populations including nursing home residents, home-bound older adults, survivors of trauma and homelessness, refugee-assistance groups, community development organizations, at-risk youth, and frontline healthcare workers.
