Interactive Soft Sculpture Installation by Mookntaka

Meet members of Mookntaka’s Friends and Follies, a cheerful cast of inflatable sculptures that encourage people of all ages to connect through play. Mookntaka (MOO-kin-tah-kah) is a Brooklyn-based artist duo by Mark Zlotsky and Karyn Lao, currently an artist in residence in MAD’s Artist Studios. Utilizing mediums associated with arts-and-crafts, rudimentary shapes, and lively colors, Mookntaka designs interactive moments that bring people together. 

Boo! Photo Booth

Get into the Halloween spirit at MAD with a fun and festive photo booth! Participants can pose with friends and family against a festive Halloween backdrop, using playful props and creative poses to capture the perfect Halloween photo.

Frightfully Fun Pop-Up Art Cards

Get ready for Halloween with a hands-on pop-up cardmaking workshop led by artist Hayley Ferber! Participants will explore papercutting, folding, and layering techniques to create spooky scenes, playful creatures, and personalized 3D Halloween cards. A fun, creative activity for all ages and experience levels.
