Anne-Sophie Baillet and Matthias Lavaux for Atelier Paulin
Passionate about fashion and jewelry, and graced with an innate sense of beauty, designer Anne Sophie Baillet lived many lives before opening her jewelry design studio, Atelier Paulin, named after her father. She graduated from design school, worked at several fashion houses and had an event-management career when she launched the Atelier. Baillet joined forces with her friend Matthias Lavaux, who after several years working in fashion and cinema entrepreneurship brought his sensitivity for design and handcrafted objects to the workshop. Baillet and Lavaux share the goal of creating jewelry that gives shape to emotions. In the atelier, located in the heart of Paris, customers can choose their own words and phrases and the four on site craftsmen lovingly work precious metal thread into these words. Each creation is handmade on demand. Through their extreme simplicity, Atelier Paulin creations share timeless meaning.
