MADmakes with Camille Hoffman and Ariel Jackson

Thu, May 11 / 6 pm

MAD’s Van Lier Fellow Camille Hoffman and artist-in-residence Ariel Jackson will guide visitors in an exploration of collage techniques during this this iteration of MADmakes. Hoffman and Jackson will provide images, materials, and texts related to both of their interests as artists. These interests include geography, landscape, agriculture, and narrative. Visitors will create their own “reimagined” landscape collages that consider their personal histories and experiences. Visitors are invited to leave their landscapes on view on the 6th floor.

MADmakes is a drop-in, hands-on series where visitors can test their skills at art making and creative production. Led by current artists-in-residence, MADmakes offer visitors the opportunity to better understand and appreciate the workmanship that goes into contemporary studio practice today.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
