Polish designer Pawel Kaczyński has explored many fields of art but jewelry has become the focus of his creative efforts. His innovative designs incorporate ribbon-like pieces of steel mesh, shaped and wrapped until they resemble organic forms such as leaves, flowers and bark. Some pieces are vivid in hue, providing a startling contrast to their natural shapes. He is one of the five authors of the artistic group Six, which supports the creation of distinct jewelry. He graduated from the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and is a member of the Polish Association of Sculptors and the Goldsmithing Artists' Association.
