Playing the room as an instrument, Victoria Keddie’s Cannibal Mécanique marries analog electronic sound, audio and video feedback, and live choreography. Using body movement in a magnetic field, performers make the play of energies visible through color, light, and sound. Both staging and documenting the work, the gallery theater designed by Keddie highlights the unique exchange between man and machine through electronic media.
