Continuing his ten-year research into happiness, icon of graphic design Stefan Sagmeister presents an intimate master class. Sagmeister's exploration into his own happiness, further developed through a series of traveling exhibitions in museum environments across North America, reveals the growing merger between traditional design, fine art, and curatorial processes. Using the exhibition to present this evolving research, including Sagmeister’s use of meditation, cognitive therapy, and mood-altering pharmaceuticals, Happiness? showcases how the increasing emphasis on participatory exhibitions has formed and informed the design practice.
