May is Jewelry Month at MAD. To celebrate, Barbara Paris Gifford, MAD Senior Curator of Art, Craft and Design, will lead a tour of the exhibition OUT of the Jewelry Box and Jewelry Stories, an installation of 50 works from MAD’s collection of modern and contemporary art jewelry. The tour will introduce visitors to some of the most important works in MAD’s permanent collection, as well as investigate storytelling through adornment.
This tour is free with Museum admission. Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged. Participants will meet in the Museum lobby 5 minutes before the tour begins.
