Museum Hours
MAD is open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. On Thursday and Friday, the Museum is open until 9:00 pm
Docent Tours
There are docent tours daily at 11:30 am and 3:00 pm, as well as 6:30 pm on Thursday evenings. Docent tours are free with admission and meet in the lobby.
Artist Studios
The Artist Studios are open daily from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, as well as 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursdays and Fridays.

Polyphonic Overground is a durational performance featuring At Play performing artist-in-residence NIC Kay and a host of collaborators. The event activates the site of Polyphonic Playground, installed on the Museum’s second floor as part of Sonic Arcade: Shaping Space with Sound.

this / visitor features At Play artist-in-residence Steven Reker and musician Matt Evans using an array of amplifiers as modular units as they add physical and spatial dimensions to their compositions. Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Ka Baird and psychedelic sci-fi trio War Bubble will join the duo for this performance.

Join artist-in-residence Emily Oliveira to experiment with mixed-media jewelry making. Use paint to create vibrating patterns on a variety of pasta shapes, and finish the high-low look by carefully applying rhinestones to the pasta “beads.”

MAD Members are invited to a screening of the new documentary film MANKILLER, co-presented with the Feminist Institute. Featuring a post-screening Q&A with the filmmakers, MANKILLER tells the story of American legend Wilma Mankiller, the first woman elected Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation.
