The February 2013 installment of Dance Under the Influence offers the intense and playful dances of veteran dancer/choreographer Molissa Fenley; former Mark Morris company member, John Heginbotham’s magical works, filled with quirky humor and elegant moves; the stylish, fiery, soulful tap dancer, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, enchanting with her lush musicality; and the emerging Zack Winokur’s athletic and romantic choreographic inventions, which reveal his deep connection with opera.
