Join exhibiting artist and Artist Studios alum Lauren Skelly Bailey to learn about her studio practice and exhibition at MAD. During a featured artist demo in the Artist Studios, Bailey will discuss the processes used to create her ceramic sculptures and installations that reference the natural world, particularly critically endangered coral environments.
About the Artist
Lauren Skelly Bailey explores surface, form, and the layering of histories through her ceramics. Bailey received her MFA in Ceramics from Rhode Island School of Design and her MA and BFA in Studio Art from Adelphi University. She has apprenticed internationally and exhibited nationally, and currently resides in Long Island.
