Guided Gallery Tours (FREE with Admission)
Daily 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm and Thurs. evenings at 6:30 pm
MAD’s volunteer docent corps lead lively discussion-based visits to highlights of the permanent collection, while engaging visitors in conversation about the concepts, materials, and processes behind the artwork in Second Lives; first-come, first-served basis. Tours will last approximately 45 minutes.
Docent-led tours will begin on October 15, 2008.
Group Tours
Wed.- Fri. 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm
• Groups of 10 or more may book private, docent-led tours, lasting approximately 45 minutes.
• A maximum of 50 people can be accommodated on a tour.
• Admission: $12 per person plus a $50 non refundable deposit.

Audio Tour
Listen to MAD curators, artists and outside experts discuss artworks on exhibit, as well as highlights of MAD's new home at 2 Columbus Circle, on your cell phone. Look for the phone icon posted throughout the Museum and in the galleries on selected labels. Call 212.514.0017 and then enter the number printed on the label to listen.
School Group Tours
This 90-minute program for students includes a Museum tour and standards-based 3-D mixed media workshop. The workshops explore three-dimensional art-making in conjunction with current issues, creating an environment of inquiry, art-making, and critical thinking.
• Fees: $105 advance flat fee for public schools and a $150 fee for all other groups. Fee covers Museum admission and all materials.
• A mximum of 35 students or teachers can be accommodated per tour.
• Tours are scheduled daily from 10:30 am onward
