Artists for Open Studios Program
The Education Department is seeking experienced artists for demonstration art making studios in the Museum’s new home at 2 Columbus Circle. Successful candidates will have extensive background working predominately in three-dimensional materials and processes, utilizing one or more of the craft mediums – clay, cold work glass, wood, fiber or metal.
The studios are open for the public to interact informally with the artist during regular museum hours. Teaching experience is a plus. The positions are temporary adjunct part-time and the sessions are scheduled Wednesdays through Sundays – 10am-6pm and additionally on Thursdays from 6-9pm.
Please send a cover letter, resume, no more than 12 slides or digital images, and a self-addressed stamped envelope.
