  MAD relies on interns and volunteers to assist our curators, educators, and development staff, and our docents to lead the public in tours of our exhibitions. Volunteering at the museum offers a rewarding experience with the opportunity to work behind-the-scenes at an important cultural institution.

Internships are available across all departments throughout the year. Interns have the opportunity to work with our curators, help plan our public programs, and assist in the production of media for the web and in-gallery interactives.
